Bible Question: So if she is to take the bible literal, she should only be eating food that comes form the trees not soy milk and vegan burgers etc or even ground bearing vegitables or roots? Correct? Do you believe they had fire? She also thinks every thing should be raw but I know she uses her stove. |
Bible Answer: What makes you think that taking the Bible "literally" would mean that "she should only be eating food that comes form the trees not soy milk and vegan burgers etc or even ground bearing vegetables or roots?" What Bible are you reading? Though I can say with a fair amount of certainty that they did not have "Bic or Zippo lighters," I don't know whether they had fire or not. Do you? Does scripture provide an answer? Not dirrectly, but I think so. Is such a question so important? Can anyone prove their thoughts concerning the matter, to be correct? If she thinks it is good in Gods eye not to use fire, and that she is sinning by using fire, then she does sin in using it. "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin." Jam 4:17 As long as you do not flaunt it in front of her, that does not mean that you are sinning by doing the same. Read what Paul states concerning eating the meats sacrificed to idols, by those who are (scripturally) knowledgeable versus those who are not. In Him |
