Bible Note: Lionstrong, I would rather says that we have been saved from the consequences of the fall. But, to rephrase the question. Do you think that Adam and Eve thought they could not loose Eden and fellowship with God before the Fall? There is that famous phrase that "pride goeth before the fall" paraphraing Prov 16:18. Is presumption a form of pride? And is that not what Paul in various passsages warns us against in regard to our attitude toward our justification even by grace? Emmaus |
