Bible Question:
Hi Shelley, Your comment makes the assumption that 2:5 continues on but it doesn't. 2:5 goes back to day 6 and there seems to be no apparent ending. Also note 2:4. When ever Moses makes this statement (ie. 'These are the generations of') he is begining a story or list. You do not find this comment at the end of a story or list. So far, what I see is an introduction into the 6th day but with out an apparent end. Thanks anyway Shelley, does anyone out there have any learning in this? deb |
Bible Answer: If we were still in the 6th day, then it would have been said "and He will rest on the seventh day." I believe Ge 2:2 stated, "...and he rested on the seventh day..." How can anyone who can read; anyone who believes scripture is the word of God; feel the need to debate such a question? I am not very familiar with J's W doctrine. What little I have heard (from the poor, confused and demented souls who follow them,)of their profane and vain babblings, has sickened me enough, that I will not allow them to get their tenticles in deep enough to confuse me. coffee please, study the following. Then turn to the Living Water of the Word. Your mind will be clensed of all the muck therein. Once such trash has been clensed, you will see clearly... 2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2Ti 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
