Bible Question:
What's the right translation for this? In my version it says God is Abram's reward. In NASB it says Abram's reward will be great. Also it seems what's on Abram's mind is his promised heir (v2). So is it about God reiterating His promise? Why? Anyone know any good commentaries on this verse? either their own or published ones. I'm hungry to grasp it's meaning. Thanks. |
Bible Answer: My translation speaks: what God promised Abraham and it was concerning the promised of a son who would be his heir and may nations will come and has come through Issac. God does the blessing not man, God promised us the blessings. If God has promised you He is able to bring forth. |
