Bible Question: does the word Trinity appear any place in the bible, I''ve not been able to find it .. so if not where did the word come from? BTH |
Bible Answer: The word trinity is not in the bible. Because of that, some people choose not to believe in the Holy Trinity. It is a term used to describe the unity of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The song says, " God in three persons, blessed trinity!" As for it's origination, perhaps a word search or dictionary may help. Genesis 1:26 Let us make man in OUR image, in OUR likeness... He was referring to all parts of Him. I will look for another verse that helps you. |
