Bible Question: does the word Trinity appear any place in the bible, I''ve not been able to find it .. so if not where did the word come from? BTH |
Bible Answer: Dear Bats, There are many words that we regularly use that are not in the Bible. That does not mean that they are invalid or unbiblical. Frequently these words are coined to enable us to more easily discuss them. The concept of the Trinity is clearly taught in Scripture. Some people prefer the term "Triune" as being a bit more descriptive of the doctrine. Note that if we were restricted to only using words in the Bible, we wouldn't be speaking English. :-) In Him, Doc |
