Bible Question: How does evolution fit into this verse? |
Bible Answer: Hi, fochs77! Interestingly enough, those who support the theory of evolution (big bang or whatever) have one thing in common with the latest scientific discovies about the composition of all creatures on eath: we (all creatures on earth) have way so much in common!--some species separated by a single strand of this or that... Have they ever read the Bible?: God said, 'Let the waters be alive with a swarm of living creatures, and let birds wing their way above the earth across the vault of heaven.' And so it was. (Genesis 1:20) God siad, 'Let the earth produce every kind of living creature in its own species: cattle, creeping things and wild animals of all kinds.' And so it was. (Genesis 1:24) Yahweh God shaped man from the soil of the ground and blew the breath of life into his nostrils, and man became a living being. (Genesis 2:7) One Creator, one Creation, one eco system! No wander we, all living creatures, have so much in common! No wonder our bodies (human beings) have minerals and other deposits that are found in other creatures! No wonder we (all creatures on earth) are so diversed! No wonder we meet the same general compositions and needs (even insects seek salt and sugar deposits!). Yet, our Creator chose to breathe His Spirit into us in order to give us life, a different life than that of all other creature on earth, so that we may ponder about our existence and seek Him!
