Bible Question: I am new to a lot of the concepts of Christianity, So excuse me if this seems a stupid question! If Jesus died for all our sins and we ask to be forgiven of our sins do we still answer for what we did at judgement time. If we commit the same sin after asking to be forgiven is it not a endless excuse to justify our own desires |
Bible Answer: Dear Handy, Read Romans Chapter 7. Even the apostle was burdened by the remnants of sin He still had in his flesh. John said: 1 John 1:8...If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. Confess your sins and look to the righteousness of Christ. Rom 10:4...For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. God Bless Handy, John Reformed |
