81 | who is pure from sin | 1 John 1:9 | childoftheking | 38062
Greetings Hank, Some verses for you. Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? 2 May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still LIVE in it? NASB Romans 6 1 WHAT SHALL we say [to all this]? Are we to remain in sin in order that God's grace (favor and mercy) may multiply and overflow? 2 Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer? Amplified Romans 6:1 "What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?" NIV Thanks and have a great day bgg |

84 | Can God be suprised? | 1 John 3:20 | childoftheking | 35635
Hi peggling, In a word, No. God is, among other things, omniscient, God knows all. He knows what's going to happen long before it happens. Along with 1 John 3:20 here's a few other verses. Proverbs 15:3 "The eyes of the LORD are in every place, Watching the evil and the good." Job 31:4 "Does He not see my ways And number all my steps? " Jeremiah 16:17 "For My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from My face, nor is their iniquity concealed from My eyes.” Job 13:8-10; “Will you show partiality for Him? Will you contend for God? "Will it be well when He examines you? Or will you deceive Him as one deceives a man? "He will surely reprove you if you secretly show partiality”. No one can hide from God and no one can deceive God. Peace and Joy in Jesus bgg |

85 | Are all at the white throne judg. lost? | Revelation | childoftheking | 35914
Greetings Jesusman, If I may: You said "Do you honestly believe that you are exempt of being held accountable for your actions, and that you have no need to Fear God?" As far as being judged goes, we have no need to Fear God in that sense: 1 John 4:15) Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. 16) And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17) Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world” “Happy are those who have so ordered and stated their cause according to the gospel as to know beforehand that they shall be justified in the great day of the Lord!” MH We have to stand before the Judgement seat of Christ (Romans 14:10) and be judged according to our works (2Cor 5:10) since we've been saved. We are already with the Lord so I don’t believe that we stand before the Great White Throne. Are you saying that we as Christians who have already been raptured to be with our Lord are going to be judged twice? Is the Judgement Seat of Christ the same as the Great White Throne Judgement? I always thought that they were two separate Judgements. Jesus was not judged. Thanks Peace and Joy in Jesus bgg |
