61 | If I love do I have eternal life? | Rom 3:28 | JonnyRay49423 | 2504
The gift of eternal life mentioned in JN 3:16 is the same as the eternal life mentioned in JN 5:24. The moment we are regenerated by the Holy Spirit we receive the gift of eternal life. Eternal life is knowing God in the Lord Jesus Christ. Christians right now have eternal life and when they die they experience eternal life in all its fullness. "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent" JN 17:3
62 | recognizing loved ones in heaven | Rev 7:9 | JonnyRay49423 | 2453
In the account of the Tansfiguration in the Gospels the desciples recognized the the great OT leaders Moses and Elijah (Matt.17:4)These men had gone to heaven after their death and still one could recognize them for who they were when they had lived on the earth. The desciples recognized the Lord Jesus after His resurrection from the grave. We remain who we were here on earth in the eternal state but without sin-the process of santification is completed after we die and go to heaven.
63 | Artifical insemination | Genesis | JonnyRay49423 | 2379
We see from the Book of Genesis the importance of family. Adam and Eve were a family. Children were to be conceived within the context of a family. Christians should not do anything to destroy the biblical doctrine of marriage/family. Children are be coneived through the God ordained method of sex within the marriage relationship. I see nothing unbiblical with a single person adopting a child. |

64 | One group or two? | John 6:37 | JonnyRay49423 | 2376
I think the Lord is referring to the elect in John 6:37, therefore one group.
65 | do churches need to be founded by an apo | 2 Timothy | JonnyRay49423 | 2373
Christian churches are to be founded on the teachings of the Apostles. The Lord Jesus commanded the apostles to teach and preach what He taught them. In the case of the Apostle Paul he was given grace to know the mystery of a new humanity made up of Jew and Gentiles (Eph.3) In 2 Tim.3:5 the apostle Paul is describing what it will be like in the last days. Should Christian fellowship with those who believe ministers should cast out demons and lay hands on the sick? The Cross of Christ should be our focus of our preaching and teaching and not the casting out of demons and physical health. Once again look over the Bible and one will see that Christ Jesus is the focus and not the casting out of demons or physical healing. We should attend churches where the whole counsel of God (the Bible) is preached and taught. |

66 | SECOND CHANCE | Rev 7:1 | JonnyRay49423 | 2368
I see the act of repentance has a given to the sinner by God. A sinner can not just repent when he feels like it. I would think some mankind sinners might fall into the error thinking they can live like they want now and later on I will repent when I feel like it. There is never a last minute for a sinner to repent. When a sinner hears the gospel call to repent and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ he is to obey the call not wait another day (the Tribulation Period). We have no certainty that the God will continue to be merciful-the day of grace may end and the sinner left to die in his sins.
67 | Do everyone get to hear God's salvation? | Rev 7:1 | JonnyRay49423 | 2367
Rev.7;1 teaches that when God judges the earth He will not destroy all of it. God in mercy seals the forty-four thousand which represent the redeemed humanity "the new people of God"-from this chapter we see not all mankind are spared the wrath of God. Only the elect hear the call of the Gospel and are saved. Others are left in their sins and will be judged for their sins on the Day of Judgement.
