41 | Divine Healing, True or False? | Matthew | HeirofGod | 14895
No, I am not just applying it to money. I have been trying to tell you all this for some time. Anything you sow, that's what you will reap. I teach faith also. My Pastor teaches faith. If you are not teaching faith then I see where the misunderstanding is. I know sound doctrine-and the whole Chritian belief is faith. If you don't have faith you can't even believe enough to get saved, that's why he gives us "the" measure. Then He knows if you don't have it you can't please him. He was pleased with Abraham because of his faith, He blesses us because of our faith in him to trust him. I am not just talking about money here Tim. Maybe that's why people are misunderstanding me.
42 | Prosperity and Deut. 28? | Matthew | HeirofGod | 16432
Look at "Us". Christians, we can't agree on anything except that there is a God. I just left an AOL message board about nostradomus, and there were a lot of unsaved people here. I didn't interact, I just watched. We (Christians) continue to argue about things within our body and the people outside continue to see just how weak we've become. The body of Christ. Acting like we really don't know who we serve, arguing with the people we are trying to save. That's why I didn't want to continue talking about prosperity-there's a bigger picture. Yes, I still believe in prosperity, the body of Christ is going to need it when people come to us hurting. We see it now that all these families have lost someone in New York. We are the ground breakers, we are the ones who will buy homes for homeless families, we are the ones who will give transportation to families who are new at working for God and still struggling to get to their natural jobs. We can't be lowly and poor to do this. HE became poor that we might become rich. Not just material. We argue about that but we can't agree to set denominations aside to save souls-The main objective. Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost. There are still some lost people out there-but we fight within the body. Satan is winning in deceiving people to believe there is no God, but he also tells them that he doesn't exist either. THey would rather believe that he exists than believe that God does. BUT WE DISAGREE ABOUT PROSPERITY!!! IT's not the time for them to see us the way we are. Understand something brother Moran, I do believe in teaching our own the oracles of God and do believe there are things that should continually be discussed within the body of Christ prosperity and faith is among them. God would not have made it the subject of so many passages if it were not true. We are against so many of our own. "Those Word of Faith preachers". These preachers have come against the spirit of religion in this world and taught people how to call those things which be not as though they were. Jesus told us to speak to the mountain and it will move. Having faith will make it move, not hoping really hard. What comes out of your mouth determines alot in your life. What you do determines how God deals with you. I thank you Tim for not attacking me throughout this discussion, but I think alot of people misunderstood my confidence in the word for greediness; for that I am sorry. I don't apologize for what I know is right, Just like we don't apologize to an atheist for believing in God. These (atheists, wiccan, satanists, etc.) are the ones we need to be seeking to save. One person wrote on one of these posts that I seemed to be trying to do a Big thing for God, when he would accept small things, or something like that. Well yes I am trying to do a big thing for God, saving souls. The biggest thing. This is the greater work that Jesus was talking about. My Global Ministry that I talk about-that's a work that God wants of me-I don't like to travel and have never been over seas, this is not something I would pick for myself. However, I will do it when God is ready for me to go. We need to get into a mode now. He is coming back and it is sooner than we think. How many people do you think we unsaved in those buildings, WTC1 and 2, Pentagon, and the planes? Whose fault do you think it is? It's ours Christians. We are to scared to witness no matter what the cost and this country was built on the same principles we teach now. Let's wake up. Love in Christ-Evangelist Kimberly Jones (I'm not afraid of this position anymore) |

43 | Rapture - Bodies or souls disappear? | Matt 24:27 | HeirofGod | 658
The Rapture and the Glorious Appearing are two different events. Left Behind is talking about the Rapture, Matthew 24 is talking about the Glorious Appearing. Our bodies will disappear on the day the Rapture takes place or there will be no mystery for those who are left behind. If the bodies are left they will only think we have died but we will be very much alive. We will have our bodies with us they just will not be the corruptible bodies we have now. Remember when Jesus rose from the dead and he went back to the house where the disciples were? He just appeared in the room but he could be touched(Luke 24:39). Matthew 24 is saying that every eye will see him when he returns. The Rapture is only for the saints, so only we will see him in the sky. The Glorious Appearing is for Judgment this is when we the saints that were raptured return with him to Judge the world(those left behind that did not get saved during the tribulation period). This computer won't leave me alone enough to type all the scriptures that go with the different events so I will send them later if you are interested.
44 | That's an interesting belief. | Luke 23:43 | HeirofGod | 797
Please don't swing to once saved always saved because they disagreed with your scriptures. The holy spirit is a gentleman he does not make you do anything (we are led by the spirit Rom. 8:14). This means that if we want to denounce God and tell him that we don't want to go to heaven he is not going to make us. Matt. 12:31,32 says that we can denounce God and Jesus and be forgiven(when we ask). But if we denounce the Holy Spirit we can not be forgiven-if you cannot be forgiven then you lose your salvation. Only a believer can blaspheme the Holy Spirit because we are the only ones who can worship in spirit and in truth. We know the Spirit of Truth so only we can deny him and in doing so we lose our salvation. These are two ways you can lose salvation: Tell GOd you just don't want his salvation anymore (which can be forgiven), and to blaspheme the Holy Spirit (no forgiveness for this). All in all unless you are thinking about trying it to prove your point,don't worry about losing your salvation, worry about getting others where you are.
45 | John 12:31 and Rev. 12:7-17 same event? | John 12:31 | HeirofGod | 2494
No. Jesus was talking about Salvation coming to the world so that satan's power in it will be cast out through him. Before Jesus and Salvation satan had control over what went on here since God could not come in without being born legally into this world. That's what's going on in John. Jesus is telling them that He is getting ready to do away with sin and give authority over satan to all those who accepts salvation. In Rev.12:7-17 this is the war between satan and his angels and Michael and the other war angels. This is after the rapture and before the Glorious Appearing of Christ to rule on earth. Here satan is being defeated and cast out of the second heaven to earth. Right now satan can roam in the second heaven unlimitedly. Then he will be cast to earth to suffer with the unjust humans.
46 | Where is in the world not of the world | John 17:11 | HeirofGod | 484
St. John chapter 15:19 tells us that we were chosen out of the world. St. John 17:11-16 tells us that we are not of the world.
47 | What does "world" mean? | John 17:11 | HeirofGod | 3087
John 15:19 and John 3:16 are talking about the same world. John 17:11-12 is talking about the physical world like Earth. Jesus was saying that after he leaves we would still be here in the physical world and that God would keep us from evil instead of taking us out of the physical world. Then it changes to the world that the first two scriptures were talking about. Since satan is the prince of this "world system" people that abide under him are called the world or the unsaved. Then there are the people who have accepted Christ and we have come out of the "world system" to the freedom and liberty in Christ. John 3:16 is telling us how God loved the people that were in bondage of the world system that he gave his son Jesus to die for our sins so that who ever accpeted this sacrifice could come out of the system into liberty. I hope this helps and maybe some of the others can give more clarity.
48 | Is there a Heaven? | 2 Cor 5:6 | HeirofGod | 655
I can tell you this, the children are in heaven. They are innocent and they haven't committed any sins that they are accountable for. For the adults to go to heaven they must have accepted Jesus Christ as thier savior. IF they have done that then Paul said that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I have also been taught that when we go home our loved ones will meet us to welcome us. I don't want to give you false hope, but if you know they were saved in this life then you know they are alive in heaven. Have you accepted Jesus?

50 | Why do we disagree? | 1 Thessalonians | HeirofGod | 787
What I am mainly asking is how can we as a body disagree on something that important? I konw that it will happen, why it will and how it will, but nobody knows when.
51 | Why do we disagree? | 1 Thessalonians | HeirofGod | 799
Thanks for trying. | ||||||
52 | Pre Wrath Rapture? | 1 Thessalonians | HeirofGod | 1237
Sure | ||||||
53 | Pre Wrath Rapture? | 1 Thessalonians | HeirofGod | 1334
No I do not agree. I believe that before the Anti-Christ is revealed we will be gone Rev. 4:1, I Thess. 4:17. The only way that the anti-christ can reveal himself is when the church is gone. He can't decieve the nations if we are here to expose him out right. I can't find the scriptures I had to support this ARGHHH! When I get them I will send them to you.
54 | Pre Wrath Rapture? | 1 Thessalonians | HeirofGod | 1339
Thank you. I will. Can I find this book at any Bible book store?
55 | Author of James, brother of Jesus? | James | HeirofGod | 791
No. The author of James is the brother of John of the sons of Zebedee. Matt. 4:21
56 | Help with misled teen with gender issues | 1 Pet 5:7 | HeirofGod | 795
Unfortunately, the Bible is one size fits all. It looks to me as if Satan has attacked him, because of his age and his decision to follow Christ. I have been studying homosexuality in the Bible; it is not just the act of sex with the same gender. To get this trapped in your mind will put you in this category also. Here are some scriptures to help you decide what to talk to him about. Lev. 18:22, 20:13, Romans 1:24-28, 1 Cor.6:9. I hope this helps you and him with discovering who he is in Christ-A man who is an heir of God and a Joint heir with Christ.
57 | Only 144,000 virgins in heaven? | Revelation | HeirofGod | 1244
Muslims and Jehovah Witnesses believe that only 144,00 people are going to heaven, Who else believes this.
58 | Only 144,000 virgins in heaven? | Revelation | HeirofGod | 1336
I understand what the number is and who it includes. I was just wondering why and how these false religions only include 144,000 people in heaven. There will be 144,000 men undefiled by women(this is what I meant by virgins) Rev. 14:1-4. but they are Jews.
59 | WHY DOSE IT HAVE TO BE MOSSES AND ELIJAH | Revelation | HeirofGod | 1338
Remember in Matt. 17:3 in the transfiguration scene. Moses and Elijah appeared to Peter, James, and John, ministering to Jesus on the mountain. This scene represents the scene when Jesus returns to reign. Peter, James, and John represent the people who live through the tribulation. Moses represents the people who die and go to heaven. Elijah represents the people who are raptured into heaven. Moses and Elijah are sent back to minister to the Jews in Revelation and then are killed and raised from the dead. This scripture in Matt. 17 when they minister to Christ is one of my greatest supporters for believeing they are the two witnesses.
60 | Explanation acceptable? | Revelation | HeirofGod | 1440
Yes, thank you. I only used virgins because that's what it is. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just what is meant by the scripture I used. I don't understand all things about them either. I just know what they are there to do. Thanks for discussing it with me. In Jesus' name. |
