Bible Question: WHY DO THE TWO WITNESSES HAVE TO BE SOMEONE WHO LIVED IN THE PAST? COULD IT NOT BE TWO WHO GOD HAS RAISED UP FOR THE END TIME? |
Bible Answer: Remember in Matt. 17:3 in the transfiguration scene. Moses and Elijah appeared to Peter, James, and John, ministering to Jesus on the mountain. This scene represents the scene when Jesus returns to reign. Peter, James, and John represent the people who live through the tribulation. Moses represents the people who die and go to heaven. Elijah represents the people who are raptured into heaven. Moses and Elijah are sent back to minister to the Jews in Revelation and then are killed and raised from the dead. This scripture in Matt. 17 when they minister to Christ is one of my greatest supporters for believeing they are the two witnesses. |
