222 | Thanks your opinion differs from others | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93464
Hank, Thankyou. As you can probably see, I am getting many responses to my question. I'm about half way through them and they all seem to disagree with you, but yours is the only one I've read so far that seems to match with what the scripture is saying. I have many more verses to look up which I will do before I finalize my opinion. Thanks again, Chusarcik |

223 | Thankyou, what do you think about this? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93467
Very good information. It matches Hank's answer which I'm beginning to agree with but I have many more verses to look up before solidifying my opinion. Most of the other respondees except Hank are giving me the opposite answer, that is those I've read so far and I have a few more to look at still. Thanks for the informaiton. Chusarcik
224 | I unerstand, but that's not my question | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93468
Thanks for the info. There are certainly differing options on this matter! Chusarcik |

227 | Is it this one? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93527
I think that's the one where you said, "Here is my opinion....." Think I read that one. If it's a different one, let me know. Chusarcik
228 | To which of these places did Jesus go? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93558
Truthfinder, Thanks for the parallel text info in Jude and thankyou for defining the different meanings of Hades,Tartarus, Sheol and the Abyss. Which of these places is the the place in Matthew 12:40 where it says in my NIV Bible that Jesus went to the center of the earth for three days? My Bible study notes do not give that information. Chusarcik |
||||||
229 | Am I understanding your meaning? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93565
I'm trying to combine your two answers and understand the whole meaning. Are you saying that Jesus preached to the Nephilim in 1 Peter 3:18-19 but this was a separate event from the the three days Jesus spentin the earth illustrated in Matthew 12:40 and also in Ephesians 4:9-10 where it says Jesus descended into the lower parts of the earth? Sorry to keep asking questions, butI've read many different opinions and am trying to get it all straight. Chusarcik
230 | Any scriptural support? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93613
That's an interesting thought and one I have not heard anyone bring up. Does anyone have any scripture that could back up this idea? Chusarcik
231 | Continuing search why 3 days in earth? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93614
Yes, 1 Peter 3:18-20 gives the event of Jesus crucifiction and the preaching to the spirits in prison who disobeyed in Noah's days together and it seems we may be able to conclude that the preaching to the spirits was during the 3 days in the earth. Could Jesus have been making a statement to the Nephilim Truthfinder explained in the post above during the 3 days? Truthfinder, I'd like your response on this. Chusarcik |

232 | What 'syour opinion on original question | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93643
Pastor Glenn, Thanks for your comments. What do you,or anyone else who wishes to respone, think Jesus was doing in the center of the earth for 3 days? (1Peter 3:19-20) Chusarcik |
||||||
233 | Asking the original question again? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93644
That's great and Copeland sounds like a nut, for sure, but I don't think you addressed the original question. My original question is Why was Jesus in the center of the earth for 3 days preaching to the spirits who disobeyed in the days of Noah? Who were these disobedient spirits? 1 Peter 3:19-20.

235 | Is this what you mean? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93670
Radioan2, Thanks for laying out the two opinions. in opinion (2) were you referring to the faithful humans who died before Christ came? And that Christ went to them to announce His finished work on the cross so they could have eternal life? Chusarcik |
||||||
236 | Does this make it more clear? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93775
As far as I can tell, it just says the center of the earth. I'm trying to figure out what's in the center of the earth, who the disobedient spirits were and why he was preaching to them. Chusarcik

239 | Is this what you mean? | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93780
I agree that no one gets a second chance after they die. The rest of your opinion, I'm not sure. Chusarcik
240 | What 'syour opinion on original question | Matthew | Chusarcik | 93781
I keep asking because the more I search myself the more confusing it becomes. Also many have not addressed the question at all, but rather given dissertations on all sorts of unrelated things they believe. And as you can see by all of the posts, there also seem to be many diverse opinions on the topic. Chusarcik
