As I said in the previous post Jesus Christ doesnt give us the opportunity to break the law. But cannot justify us as paul said. God bless, |

183 | New Testament TITHING ? | Bible general Archive 1 | jlpangilinan | 75011
Ten percent is not a requirement for Christians, but if you want to give 10 or more than 10 percent is acceptable to God but as love offering and not as a requirements. Most of teaching todays is that we are save by grace faith and not by works, and tithes is works as a matter of fact it is works of law. Law cannot justify us as paul said: Ac 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. Christ did not teach that we must tithe, there is no apostle that give or required anyone to give tithes but love offering: 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. lastly the tithes is not for Christian it is included in the law of moses and it was given specifically to them: De 5:3 The LORD made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive this day. It was mention there "Lord made not this covenant with our fathers, even us, who are all of here alive this day" are you included there no! if thier father is not included as jews how about us? God bless, |

185 | Mormonism - Cult or Satanic Cult? | Bible general Archive 1 | jlpangilinan | 77331
I hope you are aware to the momons teaching that the God the father was adam, and thier god has many wives. Yes they are not worshiping satan but they are worshiping god and not God the Father but adam. Smith has 48 virgin wives, it is very far from the teaching of Christ: 1Ti 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Thier teaching is different from the Bible: Ga 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. So if we are to God we have to acursed evil |

186 | Mormonism - Cult or Satanic Cult | Bible general Archive 1 | jlpangilinan | 77419
Dat, Did your husband tried to hurt somebody? maybe not, my niece is belong to the mormons, I pray everyday that somehow God enlighten her mind so she can accepted the truth of Jesus Christ. I have some friend that belong to mormons some of them elders that came from the U.S. especially utah. They share with me there beliefs, and I listen, Itried to make discussion with them so my niece will heard the mistakes of thier doctrine. Ignoring them like what your brother doing is not just for them, this people need help your husband needs help. I dont think he is satanic, he maybe needs your prayer so you can pull him back to Christ. If your brother is a christian he should not refuse to talk to him, but besides your brother should show to your husband the love of Christ he needs it. You, have to understand your husband and show the love of Christ by showing the good fruit of a Christian. As Christ said "good tree will have a good fruit" Mt 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. I did not say that you are not loving your husband but maybe a little more effort. Paul said we have to take care to unbeliever spouse. 1Co 7:13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. 1Co 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. You can santify your husband through the help of God, please pray, you have to talk to your brother too. God bless, Johnny |

189 | pagan influence? | Bible general Archive 1 | jlpangilinan | 82033
Quote"The trinity as a teaching that started to develop in the 2nd century and was completed in the 4th century. This development was influenced by pagan ideas and ever since people have tried to prove the trinity from the Bible. The Bible is clear, it speaks of: 1. God the Father 2. Jesus as the Son of God, never 'God the Son' 3. Holy Spirit is constantly shown to be a power or force that the Father controls. It is His power, in Gen 1:2 it is 'the Spirit of God' that hovered over the waters. Never is the Holy Spirit called 'God the Holy Spirit'. end of Quote. You are right never speaks of "Jesus Christ God the Son" but it clearly speaks of "Christ is God" Even God the Father said that His son is God: Heb 1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Heb 1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. Now are we going to believe this or not, if we believed that Christ is God then there is now to God! Our mathematics is different from God's mathematics, many could be one for him. Joh 17:11 ¶ And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. We can be one with Them. God bless, |

190 | Record of the Amalekites? | OT general | jlpangilinan | 21851
Amalekite a tribe that dwelt in Arabia Petraea, between the Dead Sea and the Red Sea. They were not the descendants of Amalek, the son of Eliphaz, for they existed in the days of Abraham (Ge 14:7). They were probably a tribe that migrated from the shores of the Persian Gulf and settled in Arabia. "They dwelt in the land of the south...from Havilah until thou comest to Shur" (Nu 13:29; 1Sa 15:7). They were a pastoral, and hence a nomadic race. Their kings bore the hereditary name of Agag (Nu 24:7; 1Sa 15:8). They attempted to stop the Israelites when they marched through their territory (De 25:18), attacking them at Rephidim (Ex 17:8-13; comp. De 25:17; 1Sa 15:2). They afterwards attacked the Israelites at Hormah (Nu 14:45). We read of them subsequently as in league with the Moabites (Jg 3:13) and the Midianites (Jg 6:3). Saul finally desolated their territory and destroyed their power (1Sa 14:48; 15:3), and David recovered booty from them (1Sa 30:18-20). In the Babylonian inscriptions they are called Sute, in those of Egypt Sittiu, and the Amarna tablets include them under the general name of Khabbati, or "plunderers." Thanks Johnny |

192 | speaking in tongues why is this so impor | OT general | jlpangilinan | 24052
In the day of pentecost fully come it was experienced of the Apostles of Christ: c 2:1 ¶ And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. Ac 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. Ac 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. Ac 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Ac 2:5 ¶ And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. Ac 2:6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. Ac 2:7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? Ac 2:8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? As a Assemblies of God pentecostal before, I saw many things like that to our brothers and sisters. Speaking in tounge. I almost experience that also. But Nolan is correct nowehere in the bible that speaking in tounge is a requirements to have Holy Spirit. If it going to happened to you (speaking in tongue) you must be very thankful becuase you experienced the things that too few could be experience including the apotles that was mentioned in the Bible. But it is not a requirements. Thank you, God bless, Johnny |

194 | YOU ROB GOD WITH TITES AND ODDEERING | OT general | jlpangilinan | 62901
Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Mal 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:10 explain that man rob God in tithes and offering, but you have to read the verses who is ordered to gives tithes, those are Israelites that given laws to give tithes to levites. Tithes is very important part of jewish religion, under the law of moses they are commanded to give tithes to levites.: u 18:24 But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance. but in the new testament there are no single teaching of Christ that will require everyone to give tithes. There is no apostle that require thier members to give tithes to them. Authority of receiving tithes was given to levi and not for any pastors today that taught works is not a requirements but required thier members to give tithes. As I said authority of receiveing tithes was given to levi: Heb 7:5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: They have the commandments under the law to receive tithes but when change the law we are now not under the law: Heb 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. tithes indeed is very part of the law, and as paul said we are not being justified by the law of moses: Ac 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. why keep requiring members to do things that cannot justify us? Giving is not bad, but it is not a requirement if you can give more than 10 percent of your income it is acceptable to God but not a requirements. Giving that taught by Christ and the apostle goes: 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. according to the purposes of the heart, not 10 percent, 20 or 30 but in the purposes of the heart. 196 | King Davids mother was whom? | OT general | jlpangilinan | 125130
The name of david's mother was not recorded in the scripture: David beloved, the eighth and youngest son of Jesse, a citizen of Bethlehem. His father seems to have been a man in humble life. His mother's name is not recorded. Some think she was the Nahash of 2Sa 17:25. As to his personal appearance, we only know that he was red-haired, with beautiful eyes and a fair face (1Sa 16:12; 17:42). EASTON BIBLE DICTIONARY |

197 | Why the world condemned itler for doing | OT general | jlpangilinan | 237620
When we read these verses, it seems that it is okay for Israel to destroy any country nation exterminate them whatever they like... Why when Hitler tried to do the same things to Israel/jews the world condemned Him and name him the greatest criminal, the anti christ whatever named they wanted to call Him. De 12:2 Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree: De 20:17 But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee: Jos 11:20 For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses. Jg 21:11 And this is the thing that ye shall do, Ye shall utterly destroy every male, and every woman that hath lain by man. 1Sa 15:3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass. 1Sa 15:9 But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly. |

I am not agree on the word "Virgin": 3. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, and born of the "Virgin" Mary. Omit the word "virgin": it is not designated in the scripture. I am also not believed that after giving birth woman can still called "Virgin" We have warning on that add and/omit, I'm sure you know that. I think I am very clear God bless, Johnny |

200 | Is this the 'Complete Christian'? | NT general Archive 1 | jlpangilinan | 24492
Hank, You should hate my King James Version, at the same time you must fine charge against Easton Bible Dictionary. Here the quote from Easton Bible Dictionary. Mary Hebrew Miriam. (1.) The wife of Joseph, the mother of Jesus, called the "Virgin Mary," though never so designated in Scripture (Mt 2:11; Ac 1:14). Little is known of her personal history. Her genealogy is given in Lu 3:1-38. She was of the tribe of Judah and the lineage of David (Ps 132:11; Lu 1:32). She was connected by marriage with Elisabeth, who was of the lineage of Aaron (Lu 1:36). While she resided at Nazareth with her parents, before she became the wife of Joseph, the angel Gabriel announced to her that she was to be the mother of the promised Messiah (Lu 1:35). Granting that the word "Virgin" is there, do you think mary after giving birth will remain virgin. If your answer yes! You should look at this verse: Mt 13:55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? Mt 13:56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? Mary has other sons and daughter. God bless, Johnny |
