102 | Is belief in the bible needed to be save | NT general Archive 1 | inmyheart | 160856
The Bible is the source to find the answer you are looking for. I can't speak for everyone on this site, but for the most part if you are asking a honest question, you will get a honest response, and no one is going to judge you for that. Sometimes a Christian will be the only Bible a non believer will read--2Cr 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:(KJV) You should assume what I quoted 3:5 is in reference to what 3:1-4 is saying! Thank you for replying, and keep on seeking. Jhn 20:30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: Jhn 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. 104 | why did god decide to create a woman | Genesis | inmyheart | 54304
justme, Genesis 2:15, The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden (why?) to "work" it and "take care" of it. Or we can look how God created ("work") man, and how He "took care" of man by putting him in the Garden. When God saw man "working" and that he could "take care" of his work, God said "it's not good that, "that" man be alone. When God saw man was responsible to "work" and to "take care" of the Garden, he would "work" at a relationship and "take care" of the woman :) When God sees a man not "working" and not "taking care" of anything, God says it's good that, "that" man should be alone! :) God bless |

105 | God sanctions murder of the innocent? | Genesis | inmyheart | 162021
No, I'm not using circular reasoning, I quoted the word of God, and it says, Gen 22:5 Abraham said to his young men, "Stay here with the donkey, and I and the lad will go over there; and we will worship AND RETURN TO YOU." (caps to emphasis). The testing of Abraham's faith shows everything, he did not know when God would show up, it just so happened when Abraham was on the downward thrust of the knife that God stopped him. You may even examine your own faith, God may not have responded exactly when you wanted Him to, sometimes it's in that midnight hour, in the last minute of the testing that God shows up. As for me, I'm blessed by that verse, the Bible clearly states that faith comes from hearing.... Romans 10:17. God bless inmyheart 1Cor. 2:5 |

106 | Why have kids when... | Gen 1:22 | inmyheart | 53695
Amen :) Hank, I just wanted to let you know that God has you on my heart. Remember the last response you posted to me? Well, this is the right time to give you my input as to why I responded to that individual as I did. You see, I was scrolling through the "Show Me" Answers page, when I read this one posters response. Without reading the thread I could tell this individual was struggling, so I responded with Fight the good fight, meaning that we don't have to struggle with the things of God, or fight against something that will not produce any benefits for us. This is why we fight the good fight, because God always causes us to triumph, and it sounded like he/she was not fighting the good fight. Am I right? because I still haven't read the thread or it's out come. All I know is that this individual was being critical to another person, and I didn't know this person was posting to you. I apologize for sounding sharp or rude, for this has cause some grief in my heart. My intent was never to be critical of another brother. God is raising His people to walk as citizen's of His Kingdom, and I too fall short of this. Thank you for understanding. God bless |

109 | Sexual Sin Follow up | Gen 2:18 | inmyheart | 161134
Thank you for your kind words, but it is by the grace of God that we extend our hands to those who seek the answers to their struggles. 1 Corinthians 6:12 (New Living Translation) You may say, "I am allowed to do anything." But I reply, "Not everything is good for you." And even though "I am allowed to do anything," I must not become a slave to anything. May God continue to bless you as you post here on this site! inmyheart |

Tremere, We serve an awesome God! He has blessed each one of us with talent. I don't know the purpose God has for your life, using the talent He's blessed you with, but one thing is sure, it's in writing. Maybe God wants you to author a book, only God and you Knows. However, it is rare to see on this forum for someone to post, let's say, over ten post at one time, but there is no where in the "terms of use" that say's someone is not permitted to do so. I can't speak for other forum members, my experience is "you can't please everyone". Be obediant to God through our Lord and Savior Jesus and enjoy what God has called you to do. God bless you! Yeah right, just like God kind of gave Jesus. You also left out verse 27. God's work will continue with or without your tithe. How can you "just give what God places in your heart.." and "don't worry about how much? Thank you for your time. God bless |

116 | More about tithing | Deuteronomy | inmyheart | 49978
Hello again, This is out of context, but in Luke 18:12, even the Pharisee gave a tenth of "all" that he got. The Lord loves a cheerful giver (2Cor.9:7). The Lord doesn't put it on the heart of the U.S. Gov't. to take out of your check what they want, they just take it. Now if the Gov't can take your money without asking you, what's the problem of giving to the Lord, that is His in the first place? Now come on, you don't have a million bucks :) !!! God bless |

Greetings Jeff, I have followed this thread with some enthusiasm, not because someone is right is the other is not, no, my delight is in the Word of God, because truth is never the problem! I have enjoyed your presentation seasoned with grace and truth, which demonstrates not only your maturity, but Christlikeness. Thank you for disciplining. God's Blessings inmyheart |

118 | Is sickness from satan? | Job 2:7 | inmyheart | 83299
mommapbs Paul's thorn. "...There was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me…" (2 Corinthians 12:7). This verse is frequently used by ministers to prove that sickness can be the will of God, and that Paul was sick. First of all, even if Paul was sick, it is no proof that it was the will of God. David committed murder and adultery – was that the will of God? Judas betrayed Jesus – was that a moral act? Just because someone in the Bible did something does not automatically make it right. Even Satan is in the Bible. You have to read the implied principles from the experiences of biblical character as well as the directly stated principles in the Bible. Nevertheless, Paul was really a solid proof of the supernatural healing power of God – even in his experience. Many Christians have been deceived in this area. Notice Paul says he had "a thorn in the flesh." The words "scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes" in Joshua 23:13 are used to describe people; the words "thorns in your sides" in Judges 2:3 are also used the same way. Since when did it become a sickness? Paul was simply using an expression commonly used in those days. When you say, "Tom is a pain in the neck," you are talking about a person that bothers or annoys you, not a sickness. To further confirm that, Paul says the thorn was "a messenger of Satan." This tells us it was a person or demon, and that he was from Satan, not God. What Paul experienced was most likely persecution from people (inspired by Satan). Most of them followed Paul around to preach circumcision to the people right after Paul leaves a city. Some even reacted to Paul's preaching with physical violence. This is why the evil spirit or "messenger" was a "thorn in the flesh," or a "pain in the neck." You need to know the truth about the biblical passages that have been used to preach sickness. Many times those passages are some of the greatest proofs for healing. Some of them prove neither healing or sickness – just the need for wisdom. For example, if the Bible says that someone accidentally fell off a building and died, does that prove sickness, or that it is not God's will to heal and protect? No, it proves the need for wisdom and caution. By the way, this happened and Paul resurrected the dead man by the power of God (Acts 20:9-12). mommapbs, the above is from a previous post, I believe the thread was on healing. It's been some time since I come across one of your post! I enjoy your input, always refreshing. God bless |

Norrie, Maybe that testimony was for yourself, but I know the feeling. I find that using Internet Explorer eliminates loosing type material when you have to use the "back" feature. I can't tell the number of times this has happened to me. Don't give that lying devil any credit, "For all things happen together for the good....to them who love God and are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28 Continue to be a blessing to others! God bless |
