4 | Christianity vs. Paganism | Bible general Archive 1 | tuli | 35480
The only power that you have is the Gospel. No other book is going to help. The Word of God is power. paul persuaded many from their ways in teh Book of Acts, only using the Gospel. Others used fancy speech, he was simple! I believe that because His life spoke too and that he was empowered by the Holy Spirit just as Our Lord Jesus Christ was, he needed no other helps. You do not have any power in yourself to change those kids, the Spirit of God does. Prayerfully seek God's intervention in the kids' lives. Fancy material may make them change their minds but if they are not builded on the foundation of God's word, they soon will fall back. God Bless. |

If you read the whole chapter, you see a few other events that should tell you that the beast probably isn't here yet. This chip may be paving the way, because you knwo that the enemy is wise, has a plan; the spirit of anti-christ is already working. God bless. |

7 | can the person who answered answer this? | Bible general Archive 1 | tuli | 37846
Hey, I did not answer the question yesterday. However, it is okay once in a while to asy you do not know the answer to a question. there are a lot of questins we cannot answer because we either do not know that much or the Bible does not address them. About babies, I doubt they can be held accountable for what they do not understand. Our God is a Just God. why shoudl someone that wasn't even be given a chance to make a choice be judged for it? |

8 | why all the different religions? | Bible general Archive 1 | tuli | 38885
Christ is not divided. The answer is in your bible. A house divided cannot stand. The enemy cuses division so as to thwart God's work of building the Church! See what Paul says about divion in 1 Corinthians.
9 | why all the different religions? | Bible general Archive 1 | tuli | 38920
You know what, What does the Bible teach us? Let them be one as we are One! If they are wrong, does the fact that they are many make them right? Read the Letters to teh churches in Revelation? It is interesting when they all end in "to him that overcomes..." |

10 | Isaiah 55:1-9 | OT general | tuli | 29418
Is 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto Jehovah, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Well, I guess you have to come His way. Just as the very start of Jesus' ministry was Repent same as John the Baptist and pretty much the good news. You have to forsake something! The Good Lord Bless You. |

13 | When were the apostles converted? | NT general Archive 1 | tuli | 36738
zach, the question is when was Peter converted. I believe that it is after he saw his inability, when he denied Christ that he was converted and when Jesus comes back to him in Jn 21, he is ready for the work of mat 16:18, building the Church. I think Peter was converted before the pentecost. |

15 | The Sons of God in Genesis 6:1-4 | Genesis | tuli | 29421
Interesting thoughts friend, However how then do you explain the giants, because the whole idea of giants is closely related to this relationship between the daughters of men and the son's of God. I find it interesting that Israel was to annihilate the races of the giants! Think about it, if it were any common man, then the races of giants would never have disappeared. Remember these were not a one-in-a-million chance but whole races, so let us not even get into genetics (not to say you wre headed there). Now, then at the time of Job, there was none as righteous as he, yet how come he wasn't at that "meeting" with God. This is definitely a heavenly scene because these sons were in the presence of God with Lucifer, hence the assumption that they are peers. Now, remember the three men that ate at Abraham's before two angels went to take lot out of the path of destruction. How the Sodomites wanted them and how they pulled the Lot and his family and run? I think they were pretty fleshly in that. The passage in Hebrews, look at Ps 104:4 and look again at Heb 1:7. I do not understand what that all means. Gotta pray some more. I hope that hasn't been too long. The Good Lord grant us His Spirit to understand His Word. God Bless. |

16 | WHO ARE THE SONS OF GOD AND THE DAUGHTER | Genesis | tuli | 27114
Friend, this is a note to one of the thoughts on the subject, I hope it gives you some thoughts. Jesusman, That was a very interesting point of view. I have a few thought we could consider. First, if the giants were any normal race, why did God insist on destroying them? These were not any common humans since you have Num 13:33 the description, I highly doubt it was an exaggeration, considering the description of Goliath and also look at Deut 3:11. These men were massive. Now to bring in the whole science thing always disappoints me. We are Believers, not provers in a sense. Do you doubt? Any rate, for arguments' sake do you have any idea why you don't find many fossils in the desert? I figure the conditions are not condusive for preservation. Please do not even try to think of giants as inhuman, they are called men! Now your view on Job dumbfounds me! God is talking to MEN about another man? And Satan happens to be there and asks to mess with Job? How come Job, the most righteous of his time wasn't there? I believe only select individuals in the scripture ever have such intimacy with God, never a big group. By the way, at the time of Job, God did not have a people as such, only seems to have dealt with individuals [Acts 14.16] What do you think about Job 38:7? I will stop here for now. I surely njoy this discussion. The Lord Bless you. |

I do admit a lack of clarity on my part concerning the link between the giants in Genesis and post flood. However, my question to you would be, where did thr giants come from and also why the mention of them in Genesis 6 if they had nothing to do with anything? There were no believers in the time of Job! We are looking at one of the most wicked times in human history; that is why there was the flood! I believe you know that the books in the Bible are not arranged chronologically. On science, look at 1 Tim 6:20. I have no problem with science as such, but to use it to prove scripture I do beg to differ. FAITH. Simply Believe. The Lord Bless you my friend. |

19 | The Sons of God in Genesis 6:1-4 | Genesis | tuli | 30496
We believe in Jesus whom we never saw. We read about him much as we read about God. It is all FAITH. It takes more faith to believe there are angels! With evolution, at least there are a few bones, even if the rest is made up, at least there is something we can see. Come on now. happy are they that believe without seeing! My sins are forgiven, is that by faith or do I have to prove it scientifically! Honestly, people like you really scare me. faith is believing in what you cannot see!! Withouut Faith, you cannot please God! |

20 | The Sons of God in Genesis 6:1-4 | Genesis | tuli | 30713
If you have to see to believe then you have no faith and I should add no hope! Moses by faith refused to be called pharaoh's daughter's son, had he even seen God yet? What did Jesus say to Thomas? The man wanted proof, right? We do not believe in salvation because we know about Jesus, it is the grace of God! Otherwise the knowledge seekers would have the greatest faith! Childlike faith hath nothing to do with proof! The just shall live by faith, the Bible says. 2 Cor 5:7 We walk by faith not by sight! By the way, Abraham, the Father of our faith only believed God. Did he see anything of what God promised? He even tried to do it himself! By faith we conquer our enemies! We do not even see them!! Hebrews 11:6 Man, going back to Job 38, please how do you reconcile that with the idea that sons of God are men? God talking to Job about laying the foundations of the universe! C'mon Man. |
