the greek word for baptism is "baptidzo" which means fully immersed. There are other greek words for other types of baptisms such as... cheo...to pour hrantidzo...to sprinkle hydraino...to apply water baptidzo...to immerse the NT uses specifically the word baptidzo for a reason... |

I really do understand your point but I kindly ask that you would look at the specific word (not the strong's number) because you would see that they are different!!!!!! The word used in mark 7 is 11 characters long and the other one is shorter. Please seek to understand how the words are used in such instances. The teachings about immersion is clear. |
