1 | MY SON'S WILLFUL DISOBEDIENCE | Bible general Archive 4 | sqkeener1955 | 200886
DOC, I HAVE RECENTLY REDICADED MY LIFE TO CHRIST AND SATAN CAME AT ME AT FULL FORCE. I HAD A AWLFUL FIGHT WITH MY SON. HE IS 29 AND STILL AT HOME AND HE DOES ANYTHING HE WANTS. HE CUSSY AND DOES DRUGS AND IS ABOUT TO DRIVE ME CRAZY. I LOVE HIM DEARLY BUT IN THIS HOUSE I DON'T WANT THAT GOING ON, SO I TOLD HIM HE NEEDS TO MOVE. MY HEART BREAKS FOR HIM AND I PRAY FOR HIS SAFETY ALL THE TIME, BUT HE JUST WILL NOT CHANGE. IS IT WRONG FOR ME TO SET SUCH RULES THAT EVERYDAY HE IS DISHONORING GOD IN MY HOME. PRAY FOR ME AND HIM. 2 | MY SON'S WILLFUL DISOBEDIENCE | Bible general Archive 4 | DocTrinsograce | 200887
Dear Sandra, God bless you as you make these difficult decisions. Keep in mind that God has decreed specific forces in this universe in order to accomplish His will, even with the lost. For example, hunger impels us to work. It is God's intention that people are to be workers. Hunger is one of the ways God causes people to be what He intends them to be. If we feed a lazy person, we are impeding that pressure (2 Thessalonians 3:10). Consequently, we are actually standing between God and the lazy person, getting in God's way. Scary! Persevere, ma'am... it all takes time, but God always finishes what He begins (Hebrews 12:2). As people read these posts, I know that many prayers will be offered up on your behalf. In Him, Doc |
