Simple faults in the bible: In the LORDS PRAYER, quote: " Lead us not into temptation " A GOD of LOVE would NEVER lead us into temptation, only the devil ! Bible is also NOT in chronological order ! John 1 and 2 was written AFTER REVELATION !!! So please donĀ“t quote; " If anyone should take away or add to the words of tthe book of this prophesy, etc.etc. Because John was only refering to the Book of Revelation, NOT THE WHOLE BIBLE !!! So, HOW MANY TIMES HAS THE BIBLE BEEN RE-TRANSLATED AND CHANGED ??? For ALL the (Learned christians)in this forum. JAMES.1:3-5 GOD BLESS YOU ALL ! |

Greetings Obi1! First of all, 'Lead us not into tempation' is what Jesus said. If you don't like it, you will have to argue with Him about it. :-) Secondly, how do you know that 1 and 2 John were written after Revelation? Even if this were true, the order of the books of the Bible is not chronlogical. So, what does it matter that Revelation comes after 1 and 2 John? Finally, where is there a limit placed upon the number of times that the Bible can be translated? :-) A translation is simply taking the words of the orginal source document and putting them into the receptor language. So, a translation might take the Greek NT and translate it into English, Latin, or German. This would involve three seperate translations, but it does not change the text of the original document. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Jesus did not say God was gonna led Him into temptation He just asked Him to led Him somewhere else. Like God lead me beside still waters. But, was Jesus not led by the Holy Spirit to be tempted. Matthew 26:41 Jesus told Peter again to pray not to enter into tempation. Read the whole chapter and the content. What did he mean by temptation? I could be wrong but I believe there is a deeper meaning to the word temptation. But it doesn't matter what you say to a Morman. You can't use the Bible because if you stump them with the Bible they say "well that part is wrong." So why do they use it? Because they have changed it to fit their false doctrines. |
