Brad, If you are truelly interested I will give to you what has been given to me. There is only one true God. That God came down in the form of Jesus Christ. Jesus says "I am the same...have always been the same...and will always be the same". So. If we take his actions as being who he is...then we KNOW HE FORGAVE..and Forgave...and Forgave. Now. We know that the Old testimont God (God of Isreal who was over them as they travelled in the Wilderness), was a very UNFORGIVING God. This God at many times slew thousands if not tens of Thousands of Isrealites for the slightest insult to his laws. Please take this into account. Jesus said "All those that came before me were liars and theives". He did not mean DAniel or Isiaha. He meant the messangers .. The angels who came down acting as god...speaking for God. God (the real God, never came down here until Christ himself came). Now...We know that The God of Abrham Isaac and Jacob told Moses to "Beware of the Angel I set before you, for he will become YOUR GOD and he does not pardon TRANSGRESSIONS". Who is this Angel that was to oversee Isreal through the forest..To become their God...and who would not Pardon their transgressions? The scary thing is it was Satan. He was the one who wanted all the lambs slaughtered and bulls. He was the one who said "Stone a women if she commits adultery". We know the real God said.."Let him who is without sin cast the first stone"...and then he told her to go and do that no more. BUT HE FORGAVE. If Jesus is God. And the God of Isreal (in the wilderness..in the Tabernacle), was the real God...then How can Jesus say "I am". And how can he say "I have always been the same". This is obvious to anyone with eyes to see that they are NOT THE SAME BEING. When the vale was ripped in twain in the Holy of Holy's, this represented the unvailing of the REAL GOD TO THE WORLD...who had been HIDDEN prior to Jesus. The real God could now been known..(thus the ripped vale). Now we know who the real God is...it was and is Jesus Christ...The Word. Remember this my friend: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is THE GIFT OF GOD. Ephesians 2:8 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26. Simply believe my friend. Believe that Christ has saved us all. BE free. Y ou are no longer under the laws but under GRACE. Does this mean we go and do whatever evil comes to our hearts? NO NO NO. For we now know that we should LOVE one another...and if we do not love one another, we do not have the love of God within us... Peace be with you, Eric. |

Hello Eric, Please calm down. The real scripture says "...will not pardon ...": Ex 23 20Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. 21Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him. (KJV) But you mis-quoted here by saying "...does not pardon...": "Now...We know that The God of Abrham Isaac and Jacob told Moses to "Beware of the Angel I set before you, for he will become YOUR GOD and he does not pardon TRANSGRESSIONS". Is 55 reads: 7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Notice "...abundantly pardon". You concluded: "Who is this Angel that was to oversee Isreal through the forest..To become their God...and who would not Pardon their transgressions? The scary thing is it was Satan. He was the one who wanted all the lambs slaughtered and bulls. He was the one who said "Stone a women if she commits adultery". " The new Testement is solidly built upon the truths and prophecies of the Old Testement: John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. Luke 24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Does this sound like Jesus felt the Old Testament is evil? Pastor Glenn |
