Before Christ, one had to offer a burnt sacrifice to atone for one's sins. In Hebrews, the author also says it was faith. My question is this, (theoritically) say someone who truly had faith in God, and always strived to do His will, and always obeyed the law, was in Rome for some reason. In Jerusalem, Jesus was crucified and killed. If that man in Rome died two days afterward, and never even knew Christ died, would he still get to go to Heaven, even though the law was completed and sacrifices were then void?

First of all. Christ came to save ALL MEN. Specially those who believe. ALL men. If you need further proof, please ask. Jesus Christ is the saviour of all mankind. All in their time...either in the first or the second resurrection. Only the Son of Pardition will lose. He who has ears to hear,...hear. |

4 | Theoretical Question | Bible general Archive 2 | Dustprophet | 139712
Steve, "He will swallow up death in victory: and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off ALL FACES (NOT JUST A FEW as many would like you to believe). Isaiah 25:8 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angesl, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the Love of God, which in in Christ Jesus our Lord (now...prove God a liar and seperate yourself..YOU CANT). Romans 8:38-39. For by Grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. (so dont think it something YOU DO or have control of...Forget Free will) READ BOOK OF ENOCH. Ephesians 2:8 This is just the tip of the iceburg. You must rightly DIVIDE the word of GOD my friend. The Bible has two messages...the advesary has injected what he wished....and we must seperate the EVil God From the Good God. Jesus says "My sheep know my voice"......His voice is LOVE and Forgiveness forever. Let him who has ears to hear,...hear. |

Dustprophet, Maybe I'm not following, but could you clarify what you mean by "and we must seperate the EVil God From the Good God." Scripture teaches that there is only one God (Deut. 6:4). Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |

6 | Theoretical Question | Bible general Archive 2 | Dustprophet | 139742
Brad, If you are truelly interested I will give to you what has been given to me. There is only one true God. That God came down in the form of Jesus Christ. Jesus says "I am the same...have always been the same...and will always be the same". So. If we take his actions as being who he is...then we KNOW HE FORGAVE..and Forgave...and Forgave. Now. We know that the Old testimont God (God of Isreal who was over them as they travelled in the Wilderness), was a very UNFORGIVING God. This God at many times slew thousands if not tens of Thousands of Isrealites for the slightest insult to his laws. Please take this into account. Jesus said "All those that came before me were liars and theives". He did not mean DAniel or Isiaha. He meant the messangers .. The angels who came down acting as god...speaking for God. God (the real God, never came down here until Christ himself came). Now...We know that The God of Abrham Isaac and Jacob told Moses to "Beware of the Angel I set before you, for he will become YOUR GOD and he does not pardon TRANSGRESSIONS". Who is this Angel that was to oversee Isreal through the forest..To become their God...and who would not Pardon their transgressions? The scary thing is it was Satan. He was the one who wanted all the lambs slaughtered and bulls. He was the one who said "Stone a women if she commits adultery". We know the real God said.."Let him who is without sin cast the first stone"...and then he told her to go and do that no more. BUT HE FORGAVE. If Jesus is God. And the God of Isreal (in the wilderness..in the Tabernacle), was the real God...then How can Jesus say "I am". And how can he say "I have always been the same". This is obvious to anyone with eyes to see that they are NOT THE SAME BEING. When the vale was ripped in twain in the Holy of Holy's, this represented the unvailing of the REAL GOD TO THE WORLD...who had been HIDDEN prior to Jesus. The real God could now been known..(thus the ripped vale). Now we know who the real God is...it was and is Jesus Christ...The Word. Remember this my friend: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is THE GIFT OF GOD. Ephesians 2:8 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26. Simply believe my friend. Believe that Christ has saved us all. BE free. Y ou are no longer under the laws but under GRACE. Does this mean we go and do whatever evil comes to our hearts? NO NO NO. For we now know that we should LOVE one another...and if we do not love one another, we do not have the love of God within us... Peace be with you, Eric. |

Eric, I'm sorry, but I'm not only NOT following your theology, I have to wonder where you're coming from?! "YOUR GOD and he does not pardon TRANSGRESSIONS". Who is this Angel that was to oversee Isreal through the forest..To become their God...and who would not Pardon their transgressions? The scary thing is it was Satan." Say what? Can you clarify this from a biblical perspective. Its' new to me... "This is obvious to anyone with eyes to see that they are NOT THE SAME BEING." How so and on what basis? Maybe you could proide us some background as to where you're at "spiritually"? Do you acknowledge Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour? Do you embrace the whole of scripture- both OT and NT- as authoritative? This would help. Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |
