Perhaps a comprehensive list would be a good thing. I am sure that one can be gleaned from a search of topics that have been restricted, especially considering the following: "These threads get blocked from appearing but do not get users banned (unless the user exclusively writes about topics of this sort)." Finally, I wonder why there isn't a page specifically spotlighting currently restricted topics. I personally feel that if the issue is that debateable, a concerted effort, even if it takes 2000 more years, should be made to discover the truth. |

Stultis the Fool What is your motivate? You turn up in every controversial thread and instead of trying to help you seem to want to throw gas on the situation. Why is that? If you don’t like the way Lockman runs this forum your free to go elsewhere, start your own, hold your breath. Instead you seem to want to run into the middle of everything and muddy up the water as much as you can. Why? What do you hope to accomplish? As I tried to explain to Ancient, to Sir Pent and now to you. This forum was created as a Bible Study forum. Not a Biblical Debate forum. If you want to debate you ideas with others find go to one of the Biblical Debate forums and knock your socks off. If you want to engage in Bible study this is the place to do it. Many subjects have been discussed and in some it had been found that continued debate was breeding nothing more than division animosity and anger. Most of these concerned issues that have been debated without resolution for hundreds of years. Lockman in their wisdom decided that they were causing more harm and t since they haven’t been resolved in hundreds of years it was unlikely they would be here so they have asked us to stay away from them. Is that so objectionable that you have to sarcastically attack the structure of the forum or the contributors to it? Help us understand your motivate here. What do you want to accomplish? EdB |

Forum: First, I will echo my support and stance for EdB on this matter. I say that he has spoken well and to the point. I too would like any "objectors" to state their case in all fairness. Maybe we would all better understand you if you'd take the time to lay out publically what it is you hope to achieve. Hiding behind an agenda serves no true, edifying purpose. It simply will not gain you an audience. To gain respect, you must also show respect. Second, before anyone cries "foul" and claims they're being attacked, called names, etc. please do us the courtesy of not taking offense so personal. Being direct is not necessarily the same as attacking someone or being rude, etc. Don't confuse them. Behave like an adult and learn to deal with disagreement without getting your feathers ruffled:-) Repoire is built over time, not overnight! To be taken seriously, you must show that you deserve to be. Lastly, realize that this is a Public albeit Christian Bible Study Forum. It has certain Doctrinal parameters and posting guidleines. They're there for a good reason and should be adhered to by ALL. Everyone is giving tacit approval to these guidleines when they sign up with an account with Lockman. Actions have consequences- as does every other area in life. And, because this is a public Forum, dialog will entail having your views-good, bad, or indifferent- exposed to open (public) review and criticism! Welcome to life in the Public Domain.
