If there was a thought in Greek. There is a word in Greek.I have a bible program that has it in it.You just have to search. If they only spoke the words that you Know in (Greek) they would have had a hard time expressing themselves.(Gal 3:28) reads "There is (now no distinction)neither Jew neither Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is not male and female;for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And you are free to believe as you wish.

Women Preachers yes or no...... NO Galatians 3:28. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. not to twist scripures the way we want to make them work for us. I could say that since there is niether male nor female that men could be with men and women with women and use this verse to try and win a case against it. I mean if there is no seperation then why not. But we all know that God does not mean that we are no longer opposite sex or that there are not any more Jewish people or Greek people. But God is simply saying that we are one in Christ Jesus. To try and use a verse the way you want it used to support a certain view you have does not make it right. My wife and I are one in Jesus Christ but we both know that she is a woman and I am a man. As a woman she falls under the Holy scriptures that pertain to how a woman is to be in the eyes of Almighty God. There are several verses just for her in the inspired Word of God. KJV 1 Corinthians 14:34 34. Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. KJV 1 Timothy 2:9-12 9. In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; 10. But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. 11. Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. KJV 1 Timothy 5:14 14. I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully. KJV Titus 2:3-5 3. The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4. That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5. To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed. KJV 1 Peter 3:5 5. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: Now I am sure that one can not argue weather or not a woman is filled with the Holy Spirit of God but one would have the authority of scripture to say what God veiws as a womens roll in the body of Christ. KJV 2 Timothy 3:16 16. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: God Bless |

It also says (2Peter 1:20-21 ) "(Yet)first (you must) understand this, that no prophecy of Scripture is (matter) of any private or special interpertation (loosening, solving)(21) For no prophecy ever orginated because man willed it (to do so-it never came by human inpulse), but men spoke from God who were borne along(moved and implelled) by the Holy Spirt".You think they didn't accuse Jesus of twisting scripture. It was the devil that twisted it.It is those who do the will of God that have the Wisdom and Understanding of God.Have you Been Baptized in Jesus name as Peter commanded? Have you been filled with the Holy Ghost and spoke in tongues as the spirit of God give you utterance. My wife and I both have. What was you sign of being filled with the Holy Ghost? Where is it in scripture. It is the Holy Ghost that teaches you the deep things in God.

I am sorry if my tone sounded harsh. I am not upset. Only grieved in my spirit, then, only for your sake (You do not understand the verses you used).A soft answer is the best and I did not do that (may God forgive me) But, you did use a soft answer. If you truly wish to walk closer with the Lord. Pray about what I said. Have you heared of being Baptized in the name of Jesus. And being filled with the Holy Ghost?

Cajam - When you use the term "being filled with the Holy Ghost," please tell me exactly what you mean by it, if you will. The term seems to mean one thing to certain folks and another thing to others. --Hank

Hank-This is the Promised God made in Isaiah 44:3 "For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour out my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine off-spring." This is what they experienced in the upper room in Acts 2:1-4.This is seen through out the book of Acts. Some translations refer to it as the Holy Spirit. It was made possible only through the death of Jesus Christ.
