lushgush: Welcome to the Forum! I could find no greek word "kyros" listed in VINES EXPOSITORY DICTONARY OF NEW TESTAMENT WORDS. However there is a kurios, which means lord, master, owner, sir. Perhaps this is close to what you are looking for. Hope you enjoy the Forum. justme |

I picked my copy of W.E. Vine in 1966, now does that tell you anything? I have a program on my PC that goes into the Greek and Hebrew and I use it quite a lot. It has almost replaced my entire library of study books with a few exceptions. I can usually find the answers that I need in my program faster then I can find one of my books on it’s shelf. My how times change and knowledge is increasing at a phenomenal rate? That sounds like something I think I might have read someplace? | ||||||

CDBJ:-)Having updated my computer several times from July,4 1998, and changing the hard drive and memory, phone moden, and other "stuff" I also got the snow white virus four times! So I have my Bible programs, but use my library Books much more, as it can't crash and I can look at several more reference materals more than this machine. I like the feel and look of books. The Bibles I use mainly are the updated NASB and the NIV new STUDY BIBLE. I have worn out about five bibles that are so full of notes that at times I have up to 5 Bibles open while studing. Besidedes, for me it is good to start fresh with a new Bible and it seems to speak fresh all over again. I get new perspectives on fimular verses, or chapters or books. So for me the computer has much to offer, but books have one big advantage, they require no power only my eyes and light enough to read. I consider myself quite up to speed but I love reading a book. Oh by the way this is my first post in 2003 and you got it, congradulations! justme |
