1 | why did Moses write Genesis? | OT general | jbw | 84536
I don't know if this is a questions or if I was just me thinking out loud but, here it goes. I was wondering why did the Lord have Moses to write the first 5 books of the bible oppose to Adam doing Genesis as far as he could take it and so on?
2 | why did Moses write Genesis? | OT general | Jarue | 84537
I believe it was never God's intention to write his word in a book to understand him. Adam was in harmony with God because his was created that way. The bible became necessary because of the fall of Adam and we are all his children from birth, given the corrupt seed. The bible says the land was wicked (hence the flood) so Adam never re-connected with God. Moses was choosen by God and may have had the most personal relationship of any in the old testament
