1 | CAN A CHRISTIAN FALL FROM GRACE? | Bible general Archive 1 | kalos | 10496
Scripture abundantly affirms the Christian's eternal security; therefore Hebrews 6:4 and following must not be interpreted as teaching that believers in Christ can lose their salvation. See Jn 3:15-16,36; 10:27-30; Rom 8:35,37-39; Eph 1:12-14; 4:30; Phil 1:6; Heb 10:12-14; 1 Pet 1:3-5. What I have posted here is an answer, not a question. --JVH0212 "In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, and in all things charity." |

2 | CAN A CHRISTIAN FALL FROM GRACE? | Bible general Archive 1 | tj57h@cs.com | 88332
Gal 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Means if you follow outward rules and regulations and not Christ that is in you through "walking in the Spirit" you are following works based religion and you have fallen from grace. (stifeled the grace of god from freely flowing through you and not manefesting the Kingdom of God in your life, fruits and gifts.)Salvation is given to you as a free gift, you did not earn it and you can not keep it by working for it, otherwise one could boast. you cannot loose it by works. Christ is salvation he is the one who saves not you. I am waiting for someone to show me one example of someone truly born again in the New Testement who lost his salvation. Love, Tim |
