1 | CAN A CHRISTIAN FALL FROM GRACE? | Bible general Archive 1 | Makarios | 10464 | ||
Greetings brobruce56, Good question. But what do you mean by "falling from grace"? Christians are not flawless and they are not sinless, even though they sin 'less' then society (or should)! :) I believe that a baptized, believing Christian can only 'lose their salvation' if they make the conscious and clear choice to reject Christ. But this is something that is solely between the 'believer' and Christ. Nolan |

Ga 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. Means if you follow outward rules and regulations and not Christ that is in you through "walking in the Spirit" you are following works based religion and you have fallen from grace. (stifeled the grace of god from freely flowing through you and not manefesting the Kingdom of God in your life, fruits and gifts.)Salvation is given to you as a free gift, you did not earn it and you can not keep it by working for it, otherwise one could boast. you cannot loose it by works. Christ is salvation he is the one who saves not you. I am waiting for someone to show me one example of someone truly born again in the New Testement who lost his salvation. Love, Tim |
