Greetings again FyrRobert - my post to you was not meant to discourage you but rather to ENCOURAGE you to seek God's will above all else. If you find that God has laid this project upon your heart, His plans will not be hindered by time tables or anything else. God equips those He calls for every good work! I would not be discouraged in any way if at this particular point in time you have not experienced what I have called "confirmation." There is much to be gained in God's "waiting room." From your posts, it appears that you are a relatively new believer in Jesus. I urge you to join a Bible believing fellowship where you can receive instruction and training. The prinicples that I shared with you in my previous post are so important to grasp, for although it is admirable to want to do good things for the Lord, Scripture is very clear that we must seek to build on the foundation of Christ first.(1 Cor 3:10) As you grow in the Lord, you will learn to recognize His voice speaking to you through His Word, in times of prayer, through circumstances and through the counsel of other Godly men and women God places in your midst. God is faithful in keeping His promises. When we seek Him (His Will) with our whole heart, He will reveal Himself to us. (1 Chron 28:9; Prov 8:17; Jer 29:13) James 5:16 tells us that much is accomplished through the vehicle of prayer. Are others praying WITH you about this desire? Begin here. Secondly, be patient. If this project to distribute Bibles in Malaysia is from the Lord, it WILL be accomplished. Just because we can't discern the details right now does not limit God's ability to accomplish HIS purposes. Don't deprive yourself of the blessing of seeing God's Hand at work by forcing open doors that the Lord wants to open for you! The book I mentioned in my previous post, "Experiencing God" was SO beneficial to me. I highly recommend it to you, however, I believe that this study is best when done in a group setting. "As iron sharpens iron, so does one man sharpen another!" Proverbs 27:17 May God continue to bless your heart and hands as you seek His face. mommapbs |

Hi, Yes, I did give the impression that I appear to be relatively new believer in Jesus but in actual fact,I knew Him as a casual friend some time ago and called on Him infrequently. only of late,I have a desire to know Him more in depth and to study His way of life and His characters. Yes, I shall be patient so that I may experience God's blessing--as suggested by you. With Love in Christ. Fytrobert |

Good Afternoon Robert, several of us are praying for you. First of all, that you will grow in the Lord (as you have surmised is necessary!) Robert, God never "makes fun of us!" He delights in us! God sees us as His children. Some of us are a little more "grown up" but what we will be is not what ANY of us are now! God sees the day when we are ALL mature in Jesus - but that day will be realized on the other side of this earthly existence. As a child do you remember longing for the day when you could do things that your age prevented ie; driving a car? Just as much physical and emotional growth is required for this activity, the deeper activities of our spiritual life require growth too. Just as an infant is fed on milk, so are new believers fed on the Word in the same way (1 Peter 2:2) Don't become impatient or frustrated. God is at work IN YOU to accomplish HIS purposes! (see Eph 2:10). Secondly, my prayer for you is that you will be drawn to God's Word as your source of spiritual food and that God would unite you with those who will be "Jesus in skin" to you and see to your growth and discipline as you come to know the Lord more and more. See Eph 4. God has given you the assurance of His love and forgiveness as demonstrated in the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus, for your salvation from the penalty of sin. God has given you His Holy Spirit to be your Comforter, your Teacher and your Guide. God has given you the peace of His presence to remove fear. God has given you His Word to reveal Himself to you. God has given you the privilege of prayer to commune with Him. God has given you other believers to encourage you in your faith. God has given us these and SO MANY other precious gifts, yet some require our active participation! Robert, are you seeking for fellowship with other believers? The Forum is a great place to explore God's Word with others but it is not a substitute for personal interaction. Blessings, mommapbs |
