1) All work and business on the 7th Day Sabbath is commanded to be stopped. Exodus 25:1 2) Jesus Christ and the Apostles taught the gospel of the kingdom on the Sabbath day "as was their custom" (read all of the Gospels and Acts). 3) Jesus Christ is LORD OF THE SABBATH. 4) Anyone who keeps Sunday is taking the MARK OF THE BEAST (Sunday worship).Read Revelation! Scripture References?-Again read the ENTIRE 4 Gospels and the Book of Acts - the Sabbath is mentioned all throughout them. NOTE! See Genesis 1-7 (God HALLOWED the 7th Day thousands of years before the Birth of Moses) Please see Exodus 25 (read the 10 Commandments again) |

Billy Joe: You raise a curious point in your post, curious to me at least because in 67 years I've never read anything quite like it. In your post you say this: "Anyone who keeps Sunday is taking the MARK OF THE BEAST (Sunday worship). Read Revelation!" Now that is, as I mentioned, a curious view to me; and I've never given or seen anyone else give quite the same twist to the meaning of Revelation's "the mark of the beast." I noticed that your instruction was merely to read Revelation. Where specifically in Revelation can one find the statement that reasonably could lead one to equating worship on Sundays to the mark of the beast? At my age it is dangerous to jump very far, expecially when jumping to conclusions, so please, will you be kind enough to support your statement with Scripture that is clear, so abundantly clear that I need not have to jump to a conclusion that is grounded more in a pre-conceived set of theological assumptions than on plain and unambiguous scriptural teaching? Again, I beg of you, please don't make me jump! :-) -Hank

Hank, it's either in Revelation 23, or perhaps he meant one of the other places in "his" bible, like Jude 2, James 6, Titus 4, or any number of Scriptures the rest of us don't have access to. Just a theory that, now that I think about it, really isn't very funny. It's sad. Too sad. Taleb |

Taleb, just minutes ago I posted a response to your note, but it has never appeared on these pages. I know not whence it went, but such is the nature, I suppose, of the computer. It is undoubtedly THE MARK OF THE BEAST which the Book of Hezekiah clearly refers to as being the computer. :-) [See also Revelation.] --Hank

Hello Hank, surely you do guest? It never ceases to amaze me how some people can jump to the conclusions that they come to. It seem as though lately the forum is swarming with them. If it isn’t baptismal regeneration it is strict adherence to the Mosaic Law. It is as though the Scripture that expounds on the truth of their fallacy isn’t even there or that portion is written in a foreign language in their Bible. I think instead of the PC being the mark of the beast that it would better answers the description in the following verse, since we have to make it something. Rev. 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. Here is a classic, the word (image) comes to us from the Koine Greek word IEKON which is the same word we use, icon in the English. Now that ought to start some devious thoughts going. CDBJ |

CDBJ: Your analysis of 'image' and 'icon' being linked with the PC is rather tame game for THIS forum! :-) I've seen far more esoteric stuff here, haven't you? On a forum where 20 or more posts have been devoted to the momentous topic of ferreting out the name of Lot's wife; where scores more have examined the origin of Cain's wife; and where countless and heroic efforts have been expended on such subjects as dinosaurs and extra-terrestrial beings, it becomes crystal clear that the scope of a so-called StudyBibleForum is without limit. No subject is taboo and no passage of Scripture is so plain but what someone can come along and obscure it by applying to it a generous layer of psycho-babble. --Hank

Hank, since you mentioned the origin of Cain's wife, I was always under the impression that he married his father-in-law’s daughter; just kidding, and oh, Lot's wife name was Morton or something like that. CDBJ
