I'm sorry but this does not help. Genesis talks of the beginning and in the beginning the word was with God and the word was god but it wasn't until later that the word became flesh. I don't understand how God would have referred to *US* and *OUR* in the beginning. If your answer were the case then wouldn't scripture put the events in correct order?

zerotheory: Donnell Wells gave you a clear, biblical answer to your question. I don't know how it could be made clearer. Are you confused in that you view the Incarnation as the beginning of the existence of Jesus Christ, the Son of God? As Donnell has pointed out, this is not what the Bible says. If you view God the Father as being eternal, what would deter you from having the same view of God the Son and God the Holy Spirit? Wherein lies your problem with this? --Hank

I guess my problem is in the cronology of the events. It seems to me that God would have explained his son and his holy spirit from the beginning. Also, nothing would deter me from having the same view of the others if they were not considered the same as God at the same time as God. If they are also God then why not just refer to them as God?

Zerotheory, with respect to you as a person and without malice or intent at sarcasm, I must confess that I have no problem with the way in which God chose to write His Book, but if you do, this forum is no place to settle the matter. If you are a regenerate believer, take your problem to the Lord in prayer. If you are not a regenerate believer, and the Spirit calls, do business with God. Accept His grace and believe in His Son as your Savior and Lord. "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit." [Philemon 25] --Hank
