Okay, thanks, I didn't realize that. However, I'm doing research about the influence of the KJV on the English language, and so the fact that even the older NASB used "thee" and "thou" is still interesting. What do you think is the reason? | ||||||

Ashley, I believe the reason the NASB and RSV (Revised Standard Version) translators stuck with the Thees and thous is that it was a sign of respect the the AV. Also, It was a link in the great tradication. Josh |
