I would like to start reading the Bible on a daily basis. What is a good way to gain full understanding? and how do I start that process? | ||||||

NayNay, I agree with Devan. -Prayer is key. Pray before you start, during and after. -Set aside a time daily that you spend time in the Word amd prayer. If you are inclined, include singing. -I would start with the gospel of John. -I would have at least two Bibles. One that has no study notes and another that does. -The translation needs to be accurate, yet understandable. The NASB is good, so is the NIV. Young's Literal Translation may be a little hard to understand. -Take you own notes, even write in your Bible. -If you have questions, ask. Hopefully you have a mentor who you can meet face-to-face.
