Matt. 7:21 clearly states that it is necessary to do the will of the father to enter heaven. Wouldn't that mean that a life of sin after salvation will close those pearly gates? | ||||||

Experience teaches us that just because we become Christian's, that we don't automatically become sinless. Christian's often fall into a lapse of sin. When they do they feel the Holy Spirit's conviction, repent and turn from any known or revealed sin. However if someone remained in a life of habitual unremorseful, and unconfessed sin, I would doubt whether or not that this person was ever saved. Christian's are not perfect. God is still working on them and in them and with them. It's a process which we call sanctification. |
