1 | Adultery, Married, Should I now divorce? | 1 John 1:9 | D.D.1961 | 46492
Can a person who was saved and then committed adultery and married the person still go to Heaven if they acknowledge that what they did was wrong and they are sorry about it as well. I did this and I am deeply troubled by what I did because I know God forbids it. Sometimes I just feel so disgusted with myself, but it is done and over with. I am sorry, but love my husband (who I previously committed adultery with). Should I divorce him now and remain single even though I love him. I don't think this would please God either. I just feel so discusting now and worry about not being forgiven (even though it says I am). You can be honest and hard on me, but please don't be too harsh...I really am sorry.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Jesus loves you and forgives when you repent. Don't trust your emotions, believe His word. Walk in the spirit and hopefully the leanness in your soul will leave soon. |
