2 | Never had a chance to reject Christ | 2 Pet 3:1 | Arnie | 41026
Thank God for His (2 Peter 3:9) "long suffering" toward us. Surly it is by His grace we have hope. The question was about those who have never had a chance to reject His salvation, they have never come to "know" Him. I know we must be called first, we then come to "know" Christ and "the way" to salvation. I bring this up because of whats happening in the middle east. These suicide bombers have been taught from the time they have been little children to hate Israel and the western way, they have been taught a very radical veiw of Islam. They have never had a chance to come to know Christ as you or I have. Do you think you or I, brought up in those same circumstances, would choose Christ? I don't think so.

Hi Arnie you ask the hardest question of today! I pray for wisdom about it and know where to find the answer but haven't anything yet except this. It is interesting that the koran quotes the bible but the bible never quotes the koran. What I see is that this conflict began when Sarah and Abraham tried to MAKE god's plan happen instead of waiting on His timeing-Gen. 16-God made a promise to Hagar vss 11-12- He also promised Abraham regarding Ishmael- Gen. 17 :18-20. God has fullfilled these promises. In some things we must trust that God is in control and walk by faith in Him. In this matter-that is all I can do.in Him angel1
4 | Never had a chance to reject Christ | 2 Pet 3:1 | Arnie | 41056
Angel 1, I think you are so correct in not trying to MAKE God's plan happen, the example of Abraham and Sarah is right-on. He indeed must have a plan, and the only answer I see, about those who havn't had a chance to reject Christ, and it must include billions, is another "day of salvation". I thought someone might find an answer in the bible. Arnie

Hi arnie thx for reply-I do know for sure God gave us His word so we could know Him -so all the answers are in there. I think the "thesis" of the bible would be---I AM. HAVE FAITH IN ME. in Him angel1
