Hi charis. Please read 2 Corinthians 3rd chapter.and please tell me what paul is trying to get across.Never has god said the bible is his word.Man said that!It has always been his intention to put his spirit in us to move us and make us see his glory.Today we display the same mental attitude that israelites did.they wanted a king so god gave them one. Please read John 5:39 and stop for a minute and think! You say the bible is about us and for us right? What did jesus say.then if what is written there applied to them (religious leaders)does that not apply to us.Please read Matthew where he said that he would send a helper to bring "all" things to rememberance.Charis what about people who have never had a chance to see the bible or read,or deaf, dumb, mute down syndrome, he has always said that his spirit and son are doing the work.Does he say in tall bibles that the word became flesh. He is the real "word".Paul knew this apostles knew that.we today look right over that and do the same thing the israelites do...and thnk we don't.we are truelly carnal minded.Read Isa 8:20....i am not i repeat i am not saying that Paul writings or anything in the new testament is not from god.Why because at no time was the bible inspired or writtem by man,but they wore bore along by holy spirit.I understand what the father says. Please read Luke 24:27,44, and 45...the whole bible is abt jesus not you and i.Did not you preacher or reverend read you what paul said What don't you know your body is a temple of God?Every temple of god has to be filled with holy spirit.Example solomons temple! Please be advised that the father is bringing this age to a close and with holy spirit he will overturn everything we were taught by men(preachers, reverends, friends, popes, family mistranslated bibles, teaching of demons, you name it he will overturn it...remember this charis he said he would give this spirit to the weak and beggarly, uneducated, those not reknowned fame.Remember moses was not a good speaker, david was puny in stature, and most of paul he persecuted jews...so pay attention to what is being given...and don't toss it just because you have never heard someone say this before read Hebrew 8:8-10 and 13.That is the great mystery upon man today. Now read 2 corinthians 3:2-3 again...and 1 timothy 3:16...peace and blessings

Dear JMSCOTT, Greetings in Jesus' name! My friend, I HAVE read the Scriptures you pointed to, in fact, I have read the entire Bible. It is the Word of God. In your terms I will say, "The Holy Spirit confirms to my heart that the Bible is the Word of God!" Not one thing you have said deters me from trusting the three witnesses that I wrote in my post to you. 1) The Holy Spirit 2) The Holy Bible 3) The church, the body of Christ, the assembly of His saints. It so happens that I have ministered to the kind of people you spoke of. I ministered and preached the Word, and the Holy Spirit touched them. Though they may not be able to function in some of the more physically active roles in the church, I trust that they are just as much a part of His body as any other. Truly, I cannot fathom where you are coming from, or where you are going with this line of reasoning. In Christ Jesus, charis |

and neither could the pharisees or the religious leaders of today. If you had never read the bible, and someone told you about God.Immediately in your mind and heart you will begin to see maybe their is a god.Romans 1:18-20 he uses the creation as a witness.Stop saying i am belittling the holy spirit.I am not!what if you had pages missing from your bible then what!If you have read the entire bible what name do you call god?by his divine name he gave himself.Or do you say lord and it does not matter.Read Exodous 6:3 he say's that is my name forever to all generations.Did you read the ten commandments were it says not to take his name in vain.Nobody is saying the bible is not from god in fact men wrote it through holy spirit.Start calling him by his name then he will fill your temple with his spirit.Charis if you have his spirit nothing will deter you from his spirit!charis sometimes revelations come from sources you don't expect....peace and blessings

Dear JMSCOTT, Greetings once again, in Jesus' name! I don't recall saying that you were belittling the Holy Spirit. I don't have pages missing from my Bible, because God has seen to it that we have the whole counsel of God in His Word and in His church, all throught the unction of the Holy Spirit! Friend, you seem to have a 'divine revelation' that no one else has. Could you let us in on it? What is the 'name' you keep referring to? Is it the Lord Jesus Christ? If it is, then you speak in accord with the Bible, the church, and the Spirit that dwells within me. However, you seem to be saying there is an 'unexpected source' that I should seek for. Would you name that source, please? Then maybe this discussion will move on to the point. Blessings and peace in Christ Jesus, charis |

Dear JMSCOTT, Greetings from Japan in Jesus' name! Actually, I use Kodansha's Dictionary usually, and it tells ma that Jesus' name in Japanese is Iesu. This is the pronunciation I commonly use. What is your point? Most Americans cannot pronounce Hebrew words and names, and the Japanese have an even worse time with foreign monikers. Jesus is a perfectly acceptable name for our Lord and Savior! So is Iesu. Neither is UN-acceptable! By the way, this same logic would forbid you to say 'Japan.' It is 'Nippon.' And you can't eat 'Sukiyaki' unless you say it right! :-) I'm already at tomorrow! You'll just have to catch up! :-) In Christ Jesus, charis |
