1 | Why angels are not forgiven? | 2 Pet 2:4 | Scribe | 86461
1 Corinthians 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. The only answer I can think of at the time, is that man can be forgiven only because of Jesus becoming Flesh and dying for man. Since this is the only thing that allows man to be forgiven, it leaves out the redemption of fallen angels since there is no evidence of God's plan being to send an angel to die for angels, howbeit some might take up such an argument, that the Angel of the Lord Paul says is Christ therefore is there not sufficiency in the death of christ for angels as well, or does not the creator's sacrifice suffice for all creation. I do not know. Good question. |

2 | Why angels are not forgiven? | 2 Pet 2:4 | Mommapbs | 86469
Greetings Scribe - I do think about some pretty off beat things at times, but even these take me to the foot of the cross! I am continually amazed that God would rescue us!!! What love the Father has LAVISHED upon us- His children! In thinking this over, I recognize that both angels and man were created to glorify God - yet man was created in God's image - this sets him apart. Also, is there any evidence of a love "relationship" between God and the angelic order? I suspect that these differences somehow are related to our forgiveness and not theirs. As for now, I'll just ponder it for a while. . . God says, HIS GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR ME! Dt 29:29. mommapbs |
