1 | Is coveting with a pure heart Godly? | James 4:3 | Makarios | 30002
Greetings Discipled! I agree, that presents quite a quandary! But I'm sure that you would agree that humans are just full of ironic possibilities... :-) Blessings to you, Nolan |

2 | Is coveting with a pure heart Godly? | James 4:3 | The Disciple | 30012
Yes - agreed! What can we do for such possibilities ? Or what should we do ? Are we to go on letting our bretheren live in discontent? Or shall we try to help them understand what Paul tries to teach us in Phillipians 4:10-20? Surely he wasnt just speaking of mammon..? (see vs 17) Frankly, its disheartening to see our brothers believing a message of gain now and not so much later. *SHALOM* D |

3 | Is coveting with a pure heart Godly? | James 4:3 | Makarios | 30021
Greetings my friend, 2 Tim. 3:16 says that "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;" Two words jump out at me here: 'teaching' and 'correction.' Such a verse would lead me to the conclusion that we should not let our brethren live in discontent, but to help them to understand that Christianity is not something in which we should use for our own gain, but it is a walk with God that we should undertake for God's gain, and His gain alone! :-) Shalom! 4 | Is coveting with a pure heart Godly? | James 4:3 | The Disciple | 30031
Thank You Nolan, I have used that Scripture for a foundation of why I do the things I do with all my brothers that ask why... Prayerfully they to will find themselves in His service in such a way. Lord Bless you always, D |
