1 | Is my situation a sing from God? | James 3:1 | Eniald | 128704
I have recently accepted Christ as my Savior and God as my true Lord and Father. I have come to this through many ways, a main one being the Lost Behind series. Today, I recieved an email from a local studant baptist organization asking if I would like to lead a Bible Study group. Not having given my information out to anyone, I was wondering if this should be seen as a sign from God? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
2 | Is my situation a sing from God? | James 3:1 | srbaegon | 128705
Hello Eniald, Don't do it. Nobody who has recently recived Christ as Savior is qualified to do this. Consider something: James 3:1 (NASB) Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we will incur a stricter judgment. Are you ready for this? I would question an organization that was so quick to ask a new believer to do this. Steve |

Thank you for your response, I have been thinking and praying about this today, and I feel that you are right. This organization contacted me out of nowhere, and being a new believer, I'm not sure that I could effectively lead a study group. I am interested in finding a local study group though. Thank you for the verse, it has made me realize that I am far from the point of teaching others.
