True but it was the non-believing Jews who continued to sacrifice. The city was not destroyed because God's prophecy of 70 weeks of years (490) of probationary time for the Jews to repent was not completed until 3.5 years after Jesus's death. Sacrificing makes Jesus' death of no affect. Merv |
