1 | when did theologians understand 7's? | 2 Tim 2:15 | vnct blzn | 222724 | ||
BradK - "I'm not sure how this contradicts Blavatsky's understanding nor where she thinks theologians lacked in their understanding of the number 7?" it's the assertion of theosophical authors (according to my friend) that blavatsky was the first to discover the principle of completeness regarding the number seven since the bible was written. this wasn't blavatsky's own assertion, however. "Might I ask why this is so important to understand?" my friend wants me to directly quote any authors who lived prior to blavatsky's time (1800's) who claim to have discerned the principle of sevens within the bible, lest blavatsky get the credit for being the first in recent centuries to discern it. |

vnctvblzn: Great question, I too agree with Brad. Is this a Christian school you are attending? I think you could say Moses understood the completeness in the number seven. I doubt this would fly with your teacher. Maybe others can help you better soon. Blessings. justme |
