1 | The Ministry of the "Walking Wounded" | 1 Tim 4:6 | suzyq | 35165
THIS IS A GOOD QUESTION. WE RECENTLY HAD A SITUATION WHERE OUR PASTOR STEPPED DOWN FOR HIS OWN REASONS AND OUR INTERIM PASTOR ASSUMED DUTIES. BUT , THER WERE BY-LAWS SET UP BY THE BODY OF THE CHURCH AND WE HAD TO UPHOLD THEM. IN THE MAEN TIME , OUR INTERIM WAS "POLITICING" FOR VOTES FOR HIMSELF. DURING ONE SERVICE HE HAD AN OLDER GENTLEMAN STAND UP AND SAY THAT HE WOULD LIKE TO VOTE HIM IN. COULD HAVE BEEN INNOCENT, BUT HE DID NOT STOP WHAT WAS GOING ON. FOR ONE THING WE HAD A VISITING PASTOR SPEAKING WHO'S NAME WAS BEING VOTED ON. THE INTERIM PROCEDED TO PROVOKE THE BODY AND HURT THE VISITING PASTOR.

Greetings, Suzyq! Thank you for your response. That is quite a situation that you have described, and I thank you for sharing a little more about yourself! I pray that the situation and the issues there were resolved with the Lord's guidance. Your Brother in Christ, Makarios P.S. Your post is a little more difficult to read with all capital letters. Thank you! :-) |
