2 | Moses and the Canaan land | Num 20:12 | prayon | 77930 | ||
To add to Tim's responce I wanted to add that the people were thirsty and needed water for their animals. God told Moses to strike the rock his staff one time, however Moses was so angered at the people that he struck the rock twice directly disobeying God. As punishment God told him that he would not enter the promised land. I don't think that there was anything that Moses could of done to change this. When we disobey God He will punish us just as we punish our children when they do something wrong. We are God's children. prayon |
