1 | Lord God, Lord Jesus, Lord Spirit? Amen | 2 Cor 3:18 | Ray | 58065
Here is a literal translation from an "Interlinear Greek-English New Testament", Jay P. Green, Editor. 2 Corinthians 3:18, "But we all with unveiled face beholding in a mirror the glory of (the) Lord are being changed (into) the same image from glory to glory, as from (the) Lord Spirit." Could I hear from a person knowledgeable in Greek concerning this verse about the Lord Spirit? From the heart, Ray |

2 | Lord God, Lord Jesus, Lord Spirit? Amen | 2 Cor 3:18 | RCSCROLL | 58077
The Lords Spirit would be more accurate here,or perhapps, the Lord the Spirit, in otherwords what we dont see as compared to what we can.18 and we all, with unvailed face, the glory of the Lord beholding in a mirror, to the same image are being transformed, from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Cor 3:18, Literal Translation) In English we would merely say the Spirit of the Lord. Also if you would like a little light shedd on this scripture, here is what it entails Spiritually.18 But we all(JEWS OR GENTILES), with open face(NO VAIL ANYMORE) beholding as in a glass(REFLECTION) the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Cor 3:18 (KJV)WE SHOULD CONTINUALLY BE LIKENED TO CHRIST,GROWING IN THE SPIRITUAL LIFE.AND THIS PROCESS WE ARE CHANGED BY IS THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD. |
