Sure, I like for people to read things and receive from God first before I give my understanding. This way it is more personal for you if you receive from God for yourself. You have to read the whole chapter. Pay particular attention to verse 8. It is saying that we are now free to eat whatever we want. But if your brother is offended by what you eat, then you should not eat it in front of him. This same logic applies to other things such as drinking. Although it is not a sin to drink, if your brother has a problem with it, then you should not do it in front of him. Read also Romans chapter 14. Not eating pork was part of the Law. Christ freed us from that law. Now we have certain liberties that were'nt available before. We are now under grace. Rom 6:14 Let me know if you need any further elaboration. God bless, Sal |

OK, did you read the link that I posted earlier in my original question?? In this page is a very strong statement: Mat. 4:4… "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD that proceeds out of the mouth of God." |

No I didn't. I'll have to read that and get back to you on it later. But the scriptures I gave you are quite clear. We are allowed to eat anything we want now. The dietary law is not required anymore. |
