AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 8:1 Now about food sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge [concerning this]. Knowledge [alone] makes [people self-righteously] arrogant, but love [that unselfishly seeks the best for others] builds up and encourages others to grow [in wisdom]. |

Bible Note: Sal, Thanx for all of your help. Thanx to everyone else who offered guidance in this matter. Yes, I thought all along that when Christ died he fulfilled the law. There was that darned article I posted, and I also have a friend who is constantly telling me that modern Bible Scholars miss the point on God's word and misinterpret the Bible to fit today's world. The article fit the theme of my friend's belief. Thanx to all of you who replied, I have rejoined my personal path. Maybe not so much personal, but it relies on my personal relationship with God, thanking him for my redemption in Christ, who without we would all be hopelessly lost. Also, my personal relationship with God demands that I am grateful for all things that have come to me and all of those things that I have been fortunate to avoid. I do try to serve myGod in the best way I can, but alas, I am human, and therefore fall prey to foolishness at times. Let me say also that I am elated to have found this site. I travel because of my job and the hours are not regular, therefore making it hard to find the fellowship of other Christians at times. While this is all in print, the spirit is still received. Thanks to all. |
