I am struggling with doubt and trust that God truly is concerned with my personal circumstances. And as I've been looking for work some great doors have been opened and I'm continually questioning is this God opening the door for me or is this just luck how do I get past not trusting that God is concerned with me | ||||||

Dear Nadia, Welcome to the forum! "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:31-32) People sometimes think that Christianity will provide you with good feelings and guidance for all the decisions we make in life. God never promises those things. Our feelings come and go. We are faced with decisions every hour and every day. What we build upon, is the solid rock of God's Word (Hebrews 1:1-3). Thus, we have from Scripture exactly what God's will is for you, Nadia. "For this is the will of God, your sanctification" (1 Thessalonians 4:3a). Stand on what He has said, no matter how you may feel. Walk in obedience to His word, no matter the cost. Equipped with these things, you will be able to make choices that bring Him glory (1 Corinthians 10:31). These are the things that Holy Spirit will guide you to through the Scriptures alone. Furthermore, everyone reading this will also be praying for you! In Him, Doc |
