1 | Is iT possible to live without sin? | Rom 6:2 | Morant61 | 24082 | ||
Greetings Sir Pent! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving vacation! You understood correctly! My wife and I were discussing this issue the other day! We were discussing whether or not it is really possible to commit a non-willfull sin. Sin seems to fall into several categories: 1) Sins of commission 2) Sins of ommission. However, both seem to require a knowledge of what we are or are not doing correctly. I suppose a new believer could commit one or the other without fully be aware of what he or she was doing, but could a mature believer? Interesting question! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Personal Note .................................... Dear Tim, Thanks, my Thanksgiving vacation was one of the best ever. I hope that yours was also blessed! As for whether it is possible to sin "non-willfully", please see my "examples of accidental disobedience" post. The basic idea is that it is possible to do something that displeases God, or fail to do something that God requires, without planning to do it. |
