Because it is God commanded it, no one can question the authority of God. It is His judgement and His work are perfect: De 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. Meaning if His judgment for sin is death, then it was the right judgement. God did not prevent Judgment and Justice, if His judgment for Sin is death He want to Justice to everyone! Pick any sin you like and follow it through the natural progression of life,for example a lie leads to another lie then to cheating, stealing,anger,etc.You get the point if you follow the pattern of any sin through its natural course it will always end at death.I think that in the scriptures God was not merely giving an ultimatum but also stating a warning for us all.Sin will always lead to one destination.Death. | ||||||
