1 | Who will be saved? Few, Many or All? | Rom 3:23 | goodnewsminister | 88099
Yes, Nimrod2, when God's Son died on the cross, He paid the debt of Adam's sin, He died for only ONE PERSON, that being the person of Adam and thereby covered all of us in that ONE RANSOM price for Father Adam because we were ALL condemned by God in ONE MAN, Adam, so that the last Adam or the Second Adam could give up his perfect human life and blood as the ATONING sacrafice for Adam's sin and thus the entire human race was redeemed from Adamic death, the first hell, Hades or Sheol in Christ. However, this ATONEMENT does not gaurantee universal SALVATION from the Second Death, as salvation has been provided for from the FIRST or Adamic death by Christ, the Second Death, or Gehenna Hell fire, the Lake of Fire wherein wilfu sinners will be cast into to be burned up, it's a matter of choice on their part. God will force no one to truly convert, it will be up to that individuals on desires and character, as Satan will be loose out of the bottomless pit at the END of the 1,000 years to thus 'test' Christ's Redeemed humanity and those following Satan then will be destoryed in the Second Death, never to be resurrected again, and thus Christ will present the faithful of that Age, to the Father that God and Man may once again be in fellowship as they were in the Garden of Eden, when God could walk among men. Yes, not all will go to heaven, only those who are believers in this Age, the Gospel age, will have that privelege and this is why Timothy states that 'God is the Savior of ALL men, ESPECIALLY of those that believe' because we, the Church and Bride of Christ, have a SPECIAL HEAVENLY SALVATION that the rest of mankind WILL NOT have. Read the Promise of GOd given to Abraham, about his seed becoming as the 'stars of heaven'- representing the Heavenly Class or Church- and 'as the sand upon the sea shores'- representing the earthly or human class- the Restitutionists, those who will be restored to the perfect human image of God as found in Father Adam in the beginning. Hebrews 2:9 says that Christ 'tasted death for EVERY MAN' and this He did on the cross. 1 Tim. 2:5,6 says that Christ is a 'RANSOM FOR ALL', to be testified in DUE TIME, in the Millenial Kingdom when ALL will be resurrected from the FIRST DEATH, the first Hell, Hades, the grave of mankind to the general resurrection of the unjust. 1 Tim. 4:10 tells us that "God is the Savior of ALL MEN, especially of those that believe." Meaning that those of us who believe now will be partakers of the Divine nature and we will rule and reign with Christ during this coming Millenial Kingdom and help Him help mankind come up that 'highway of holiness' mentioned in Isaiah chapter 35. Yes, the future of our planet is as bright as are the promises of our God! Yes, God's Son paid the price for our sins in HIS OWN BODY on the tree! Praises be to His name! O what a Savior we have Who did not fail on us! In His Love I'll abide, resting peacefully in the Crucified, The Good News Minister! |

2 | Who will be saved? Few, Many or All? | Rom 3:23 | NYP | 152293
Considering the fact that Adam was already dead and gone, I will have to take issue with your statement that" He died for only ONE PERSON, that being the person of Adam." Is it not true that "Christ 'tasted death for EVERY MAN," not just Adam? "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."Joh 3:16 Now, please tell me how Adam could have believed in Him. |

3 | Who will be saved? Few, Many or All? | Rom 3:23 | lionheart | 152302
NYP, Gotta stand with you on this one.Sin and death came into this world as a result of Adam And Eves disobedience.Thier sin wasnt our sin.We are all accountable for our own sin. Because of our sin we are all responsible for putting Jesus on the cross. So if Jesus died just for the one then the rest of us have a major problem.2Corinthians 5:14 states that one died for all. Read the whole verse it makes it all quite clear. This is pretty basic stuff.Lets let Gods word speak and avoid a lot of confusion. When we strive to be workmen of Gods Word (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV) then we will have it right. In Christ, lionheart |

4 | Who will be saved? Few, Many or All? | Rom 3:23 | Not yet | 152328
Thank you LionHeart. And thanks for quoting my favorite verse in all scripture. If only the "professors" could remember and adhere to that one, there would be more profitable discussion, and less worthless and divisive debate. In Him I am Not Yet perfect, but I am on my way. |

5 | Who will be saved? Few, Many or All? | Rom 3:23 | lionheart | 152342
Greetings brother, 2Timothy 2:15 is one of my lynch pin scriptures. If believers would get this one on straight it eliminates a myriad of problems. There is no reason for Gods people to be divided. We get this one on straight then it's a matter of where ones heart is at. In Christ, lionheart |
